This wonderful machine worked pits across the coal industry, it shifted tonnes and tonnes of the black stuff. Now she and I think she is she and probably called Agnes (certainly not Maggie), a gritty name that survived 1984 and is now being brought back to former glory by hard working volunteers using the traditional brush finish paints from T&R Williamson and colours from the archive.
A history in coal and a history in paint since 1775.
