A Special Colour For Midland Rail Trust

Work begins on restoring LMS Open Third 16553 of 1925, Undercoats first and the top coasts into next year. At some point also being repainted is Horsebox 42608.

Then there is more roofing compound next for repairs to the roof of Midland Railway Royal Saloon 1910.

The Topcoat to be used next year will be Spec 81 LMS Crimson  8108122049 brush finish, a colour also supplied to the National Railway Museum some years ago.
